We love intimate weddings! There’s just something so lovely about the easy closeness of having a few family members and longtime friends at your family’s cabin for a relaxed wedding day. No rushed scheduled, no production, just time to enjoy each others’ company and play with the dog. Eleanor is the stage manager for the ambitious Wonderbound, so I’m sure she has her fill of big productions at work, and to be fair, their dog IS awfully cute. (The puppy, Samson, is also totally smitten with Judd. Samson fell asleep in Eleanor’s lap hard after a day of wedding and being chased around by tiny children. The moment Judd left the area, boy did that little doggy head pop up fast to search for Judd!)
Eleanor used all her arts and stagecraft skills to put together a panoply of sweet little details for the wedding, down to her paper flower bouquet and etched mason jar glasses for each guest. Wonderbound costumer, Rachael Kras, also handcrafted her wedding dress- perfect for a rustic, casual wedding- and Eleanor’s mother hand knit her delicate shawl.
Given the rain in Colorado this spring, we were pretty sure it was going to pour at some point. And it did, but it gave us a big, bright double rainbow to end a fabulous day!
Congrats again! It was our honor. -A&D
