Paula and Mike had a beautiful ceremony at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Denver. The architecture of the church is stunning, with stained glass windows, marble and lovely carved wood. It gives a very important and reverent feeling to the ceremony taking place. Paula and Mike decided to see each other before the ceremony and get the majority of the formal photography taken, giving them more time to spend with family and friends at their reception in the Magnolia Hotels new ballroom.
Mike was so nervous/excited to see Paula for the first time. I love how he’s nervously rubbing his fingers!
After Paula and Mike had a few minutes together, we headed off to City Park for photos with the bridal party.
We love this color green Paula chose for the bridesmaids dresses. Very soft and elegant.
The flower girl and ring barer are Paula and Mike’s niece and nephew. Don’t you just love all those blond curls! Wait until you see him during the ceremony.
It was such a beautiful day – no rain which is remarkable given the weather we’ve had lately.
Back to our darling ring barer… he was so tired from all the excitement that he fell asleep during the ceremony. Dad tried to wake him but no such luck. Finally, dad gave in and held him for the remainder of the ceremony.
First Kiss
Paula’s dad was so sweet to watch, he clearly loves his daughters very much.
Back to the Magnolia Hotel and their beautiful new ballroom for the reception.
