Beano’s Cabin, Beaver Creek Colorado – Colorado Wedding Photography by Kokoro Photography

Andrea and Michael were married at the rustic, yet very elegant Beano’s Cabin in Beaver Creek, Colorado. Andrea had lived in Colorado when she was growing up, so she wanted to share her love of the Rocky Mountains with her groom’s St. Louis family. It was a lovely day in our mountains…. a lone deer wandered through the meadows during the ceremony adding an extra special Colorado touch. Perfection.

Beano’s Cabin served a wonderful 5 course dinner to their guests and then That Eighty’s Band rocked it for the evenings dancing!

AnaLisa and David – Arrowhead Golf Course

We’ve had so much fun with AnaLisa and David in past months. First, AnaLisa did a Boudoir Session as a gift for David, then we spent time with her wedding party at a costume shop in Boulder, engagement photos with them this spring and finally their wedding at Arrowhead. We’ve begun to feel like they are now part of the family!

AnaLisa wanted a very classic feel to their wedding and she pulled it off with a stunning “Audry Hepburn, Breakfast at Tiffany’s” look to her gown and hair style.

You just can’t beat the ceremony site at Arrowhead! It’s Colorado landscape at it’s best.

Because wedding gowns aren’t always the best for dancing in – a change of clothing was in order!

The tent was decorated with couches, ottomans and pillows for a relaxed nightclub atmosphere. No stuffy reception here!

and they drove off into the night in a classic car adding to the romance of the evening.

Carla and Wes – Wild Basin Lodge Wedding

We adore Carla. She’s cute, funny, beautiful and was the perfect bride. Nothing stopped her – not the heat, not a massive number of biting bugs or really cold  stream water. Wes (bless him!) willingly when along with everything we asked him -  even when we knew he’d rather have been having a nice cold drink with his friends. (Thank You Wes!) Together they are a perfect couple.

Carla didn’t miss a single detail from the hanger with her “Mrs.” name as part of the frame to a charm she added to her bouquet. Everything was well planned and coordinated through the day.  The Wild Basin Lodge was a stunning setting for the wedding. Friends and family from out of town had a spectacular view of the Colorado mountains during the ceremony. Afterward, everyone retreated to the lodge for a delicious family style dinner and an evening of dancing. All day family and friend surrounded the couple with love and best wishes for a wonderful future together.

Check out: The hanger Carla ordered for her dress, the steins Carla and Wes gave as gifts, and Carla’s  fabulous blue shoes!

Beautiful Boudoir Swimsuit Session – Part 1

Lisa’s Boudoir Part 1

Lisa’s boudoir session was in 3 parts. Part 1 in a swimsuit, Part 2 in a dress and Part 3 in a corset. She wanted some outdoor photos but wasn’t comfortable posing around the yard in her corset – understandable! The swimsuit was the perfect answer. It’s sexy (and with the leather boots even sexier) but nothing the neighbors would be gossiping about over dinner. W

Look for Part 2 of Lisa’s boudoir session coming soon!

It’s not too early to start thinking about holiday gifts for that special person in your life.
