Amelia and Brian – Park Hill Methodist Wedding

I can’t imagine what it would be like to perform your daughters wedding ceremony. I’m quite certain I couldn’t make it through without shedding a tear or my voice cracking Yet when Amelia and Brian were married at Park Hill Methodist Church, Amelia’s mother who is on staff there put together wonderful ceremony – waiting until the last blessing before she teared up.

Amelia and Brian had a ceremony and a reception that truly featured their personalities right down to the Star Wars figures on the grooms cake!

Janine and Chuck – Denver Botanic Gardens Wedding

Janine is one of those women who waited for that special man, the love of her life, to present himself. She wasn’t willing to settle for just any guy – she wanted a soul mate to spend her life with. In May at the Denver Botanic Gardens Janine married Chuck. Her soul mate…. love of her life….  and now her husband.

There is a happily ever after in store for these two. You can see it in their faces when they look at each other. The way he watches her with a slight smile…. his eyes twinkling. The joy on her face as he talked to family and friends. As you look through the photos you can see these two people are meant for each other.

We LOVE happily every after!

Oh! and check out Janine’s awesome shoes!

Thank you to Sarah Fischer for second shooting with Amanda – you were great!

April and Janson – An Old Fashion Engagement Session

You’ve got to love theater people!

Their flair for the dramatic makes their engagement photography unique and fun. April and Janson were in the theater department at Pepperdine University, so when it came to putting together their engagement session they pulled out all the stops. Period costuming for an old fashion picnic. Janson’s grandmother is a resident at the Printers Union Home in in Colorado Springs so with permission we used this beautiful old building as our backdrop.  From the front of the building the view of Pikes Peak is stunning – rumor has it that Kathrine Lee Bates may have written America The Beautiful while visiting the Printers Union Home. Janson and April will continue this period theme for their wedding this fall. We can’t wait for see what they have planned for that!
